What a Lovely Day

Today was nice. I got some much needed school work done and spent some nice time with my kids. We also cleaned and vacuumed to keep the house neat. Rory and I went to a little visit at my sisters house to visit her and the new baby, she is so beautiful!!!





















After that Rory and I went to the store, and it started to sprinkle and it was thunder and lighting a little bit. By the time we got to the store it was POURING rain. Like seriously it was ridiculous how much rain there was coming down.  Rory and i were not dressed for the rain, Rory was wearing a dress with sandles. My feet got soaking wet from the flooded parking lot. Luckily we had a blanket in the car so i could cover her up and run her into the store. 

There were people grouped up by the door not wanting to go out to there cars because of the flooded parking lot so they were just hanging out there. It was so funny. We got our shopping done and when we left these nice bag girls walked us out with umbrellas....well over the shopping cart and Rory were dry...i got soaked....even more lol. It was fun though.
The only thing that scared me was on the way home part of the street was REALLY FLOODED and everyone was driving through it so i thought i could do. Halve way through the flooded street the car almost got stuck and i was like "HELL NO!!" so i stepped on it to get outta there. next time i will go a different  route. 
It was fun tho, :) got home changed cloths and made dinner.
